The Final Countdown!

We're on the Final Countdown! (Yes, you may cue the 80's music.)

Who else is excited for (Re)Scriptae? I know I am!

Don't forget, this is a day and a half event, with three seminar presentations and Rita Wong's inaugural alumni lecture on Friday night. The event starts at 5:30, and there will be a reception (with food and alcohol) following the event. This will be taking place in the lovely Evans Room in the Rosza Centre.

Then, on Saturday, a full day of seminar presentations commences! There will be coffee and goodies provided throughout the day, and a FREE hot buffet lunch at approximately 12. The presentations will be taking place in MacHall, Cassio Rooms A & B.

Hesitant about attending a full day of seminar presentations? Check out the abstracts and the schedule posted above in the tabs.

This is the perfect event for students, family, and staff. Thinking about Honours? Come listen and see the diversity of a our projects!

Less than twenty-four hours!

Rita Wong Article

Hey all,

So you see that special information on the poster? This year is the English Honours Inaugural Alumni Lecture, and this year's special guest to get it all started is a former 504 student, Rita Wong! Find the information here: http://ucalgaryenglishhonours.blogspot.com/p/english-honours-alumni-lecture-rita.html

Rita Wong's lecture is titled "Water as Poetics and Praxis," and she will be presenting after a full panel of 504 students. If that's not enough incentive, there will be a reception following the event. Please come out and support this awesome addition to the Honours Symposium!

Keep checking back for more information (to be confirmed on Monday)!
